To learn more about AIMA’s history:
- Delegates to the first AIMA congress (CIMA I) held in 1966 pose outside Chateau Liblice (Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic). The director of the Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa, Poland (Władysław Rogala) participated in the congress and wrote a summary for the Polish museum’s Annual publication. Inside the chateau, the CIMA I logo is visible on a banner in the upper right.
- Historian of English rural life and AIMA honorary member, Ted (E.J.T.) Collins, shares “The history of AIMA: a personal perspective” (2016).
